鳥飛返故郷 1993年
人は大古、鳥だった。鳥は巣から遠くへと飛びたち、流浪の旅をつづけたあげく、元の巣へと還ってくる。むろん還ってこない鳥もある。そんな景色を思い浮かべながら多様な筆蝕を駆使して一行の書に仕立てた。
The Birds Fly Home, 1993
In ancient times, humans were birds. Birds fly far away from their nests, continue their wandering journeys until, at last, they return to their nests. Of course, some birds never return. With such a scene in mind, I used a variety of brushstrokes to create this single vertical line of calligraphy.
